About me
There’s nothing like spending the day in your jammy pants. Now that I’m retired it’s nice to get up in the morning, have a cup of coffee and go to work across the room without the hassle of getting dressed in the appropriate get-up.
I worked nearly 30 years in the newspaper business, mostly in graphic design, followed by several years of management. Post-newspaper I worked in website and internet advertising.
The seven kids that we raised are grown, pursuing their own careers and raising their own families so I find my days filled with very little responsibility. After several ice fishing excursions, with few fish, I reevaluated the amount of effort to results. Grabbing the easel, I rounded up some paints and became reacquainted with a past love - painting. I found that I still had it in me! These are the fruits of a renewed visit to the art world for me. Now, summer is coming and I have to believe fishing will be better, but I’ve kind of caught this painting bug.
